Oh, wow! Is it that time of year again? I knew it had to be when I was riding the bus, during Veteran's Day weekend, and the driver had the radio station on and all it played was Christmas songs 24/7. Oy-vay!! I have to be honest. I have never truly liked Christmas!! Not since I was 13years old. Yes, 30 years ago!!
I have always found it very very commercialized. Not meaning to sound like a tired cliche or a Scrooge, but it is. From the bombardment of commercials on t.v. to the heavy saturation of Christmas music playing on the radio, Christmas just rots your brain with its heavy pounding in your head. You can't escape it. Then to make matters worse, this whole Black Friday explosion that really opens the floodgate into the abyss of December madness. Some stores are offering to stay open at 12am for shoppers to be the first to take advantage of the true official shopping day. That's fine and dandy and a very smart, if not financially crafty, idea. However, is the average shopper really willing to risk his or her safety to be out at 12am? I would be afraid to step out that late knowing that I would or could be robbed or possibly car jacked at that hour. I know most Americans normally wouldn't dare be out that late. I guess when you throw a late night holiday bargain in their faces, they'd shop the through the Amazon jungles in they had too.
Anyway, I move on and say that I am not a true fan of the Holiday season due to the fact that most people forget the true meaning. It is the birth of Jesus Christ! Is it not?!We have forgotten that. We have replaced the true meaning with a sales paper and a 12am shopping frenzy. Shame on us, the consumers!! Let's get back to what Christmas is really about, getting together with family, being thankful for what we have, being there for our fellow man and remembering the spiritual being above. Whatever your beliefs are, believe that a discounted special on a cheap department store item is not the true meaning of Christmas. Trust me on that!!

Kim Kardashian Krazy Khoas!!
Excuse me while I wipe a tear from my eye as another marriage falls apart? The marriage of Kim Kardasian and Kris Humphries has left me totally devastated and shaken up. The fact that these two media parasites couldn't make a marriage work past 72 hours must really rock the foundation of traditional civil union. Will marriage every be sacred again? Will America every wake up to this pathetic excuse for a celebrity?
First off, I have to tell you that PEOPLE magazine should be stripped of any type of journalism credibility because they devoted a cover story to this train wreck back in August and don't even get me started on the E! channel. Where did that channel go wrong? When Ryan Seacrest decided to make a deal with Satan and put these shallow no-nothings on the air 24/7. Shame on you E! I can't really blame the Kardasians, or Kim for that matter. They are media opportunists who saw a window and slithered through it. However, we have been exposed to that big butt opportunist and her family for far too long. I am still in shock that her wedding netted a reported $17.5 million in profits. $17.5 for a 72 hour mistake?!! That money could have been used in many of the charities and foundations in need of assistant during these tough economic times. People are protesting in New York City for jobs, money and equality and the media rewards a quickie marriage with that kind of money? New Yorkers should be protesting that!! New Yorkers should really be protesting PEOPLE magazine and the E! channel for showing how low they would go for a cover story or television program. Shame on both of them! Shame on Kim for being nothing more than a big butt materialistic air head. Shame on Humphries for even getting himself caught up in the hype. Shame on her mother, Kris, for being the poorest excuse of a manager and mother!! Shame on us for continuing to give these bottom feeders even the time of day!! Ban the Kardashians from your mind and maybe, hopefully, they will go away! Maybe the $17.5 she stole should be enough for her to get lost!!

X Factor / Ex-Factor!!
Have you been watching that "American Idol" ripoff/ train wreck, "X Factor"? It's got Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid, and Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger. It is so much like American Idol, with the exception that people over 30 can compete and it's not Coke, but Pepsi that sponsores it. They also have a group category which Idol never had. Both shows started as British creations, which is really becoming a trend lately. Stealing from them to Americanize here. "All In The Family", "Sanford and Son", and "Three's Company" being the rare excellent exceptions. My main gripe that I have with the show is not so much the judges, who are beyond judgeing on musical talent. Paula's singing style has always been nasally and she's judging someone on their pitch?! L.A. Reid was once the head of LaFace, who's major artists such as TLC and Toni Braxton, had to file bankruptcy at one time. Nicole was a member of a group called Pussycats Dolls who were basically pin up barbie dolls with mediorce singing voices and talent to match. The only one with no real singing or musical aspirations is Simon. I like Simon. At least with him you get what you get, an arrogant snobby asshole!! Nothing more, nothing less!
My major gripe is the fact that contestant come on that show and others, hoping that they are the one and that they will be picked amonst the 1000s that the show sees and hears. The prize for this show is a 5 million dollar contract. Pretty impressive. However, the show puts the contests through the ringer to get that prize. First Hollywood week or Boot Camp. Then they weed those out in the second and third week of try outs, still weeding it down from 1000s to 100s to 50 to 30 to 16 to finally the magic number: 12. This show basically steals American Idol's platform. The main concern is that these poor hopefuls have to go through weeks and weeks and weeks of either being cut out or having to prove themselves each week as to no be cut out. I understand you have to prove yourself in order to make it in the buisiness. However, you see the joy in thier faces when they have made it through, only weeks later to be disappointed when they don't take that next step. My God: Welcome to show biz!! Anyway, I feel really bad for those who want that dream so badly. They want that chance to let the world hear them sing and reach that plateau of fame and fortune. However, week after agonizing week after grueling week, you are never safe. You are always one step from out the door. You can never relax. Those future singing stars watching at home should really take stock of that. Do you really want it that badly that week after week, you rely on four people to tell you whether you're good enough or not? Also, once you finally make it to that final journey and succeed on the show, is fame and fortune really awaiting you? My compassion goes out to those under 16 and over 30. Either this something they really want or this is all they have left. That is sad!! It's even sadder when their dreams are dashed by an early rejection. Is fame really all the important to you that you would sell your soul on national television just for the devil to rip it out a few weeks later with a bad audition?

Broken Promises of 2012!!
Next year is an election year and of course, all the politicians are in full swing promising what they'll do differentlyfor voters. Whether it the economy, immigration, Medicare, Social Security, building bridges or helping create job, politicians running for president cannot make those promises! CANNOT!! It is up to Congress to make those changes. The president has no real power to change anything and voters should know that. The House of Representatives and the Senate make all those decisions and the President has to beg them to help him. Because they control the money. Most times, Congress will fight a President on what promises he or she puts forth. Especially if you are a Democratic facing a Republican Congress and vice verse. Presidential hopeful need to be more honest with voters and tell them that he or she will do what Congress will allow.

Plan 999 or Plan 666?
Herman Cain, front runner for the Republican party, could very well be the most dangerous man in politics today. His 999 plan is truly a horror story unfolded. While watching MSNBC's "Lawrence O'Donnell Show", Mr. O'Donnell gave veiwers a sneak peak at Mr. Cain's 999 plan. Mr. Cain's plan outlines a 9% tax increase in three categories: a 9 percent income tax, a 9 percent business transactions tax and a 9 percent federal sales tax. Which is a bad idea for the poor and working class. Currently poor and working class pay 7% in taxes while their employers match that. Then it gets worse! Mr. Cain wants to do away with Medicare and Social Security and have the state, city or church foot the bill. Meaning for those who depend on those benefits would have to rely on the state, which is underfunded; the city, which is also underfunded and your local church. His solution to anyone on social security is to just go to your local church every month and ask for a handout. Excuse me?! Yeah, right!!He also suggests that anyone on welfare should stop receiving benefits and just go door to door asking for help. Is he serious?! I was completely riveted to my seat listening and reading excerpts from Cain's plan. It was truly a frightening segment. While I am all for welfare reform and putting money back into the state, Mr. Cain's plan is a truly harmful one. Also, upon furthered investigation I found out that the former CEO of Godfather's Pizza has no real political background. Yet he is leading in the polls and is the Republican front runner. Is this the best they can come up with? To me, I feel that this basically nothing more than a desperate plea of "Hey, Democrats, you have your black man and now we have one too" kind of mentality. It's sick and wrong! Sadly, the Republican really have no one to challenge the current president. However, Mr. Cain is really not a good political match. While I admire his accomplishments as a successful black entrepreneur, I cannot support or stand by him in a political field. He would truly turn America into a third world country!!

GOD or GREEED?!
Recently, a relative called me with a concern. She seemed upset and concerned that her pastor, who preached at a central California church, was going to be moving to a church in Los Angeles. I asked her why and she said his reason was because of more money. She explained to me that he was actually doing quite financially well in central California and couldn't understand why his move was based on strictly monetary reasons. We talked for a good while and I tried to give her words of comfort and advice.
Now, the question. Was the pastor there for his church or there until a better offer came along; and how was his congregation able to rationalize and understand that? This is a man who's members believed in him and trusted him for spiritual guidance and uplifting sermons. Now, it seems he was for sale after all. Sad to say. Let's cut right to the chase! Deep down, we are all human ruled by human nature. Bottom line!!
I tried to explain to her the meaning of church. Church is a place where people go to share with others the joy and many blessings that God gives their lives on a daily basis. However, church can't save you!! Also, a man can't save you. That is what that pastor was, a man. Too many times, we as a society put men of the faith on a pedestal too much and we have to learn to mentally separate that fact. Whether it's the ministers that solicited the prostitutes or catholic priests that molested little boys, they are men. They have faults and flaws like the rest of us do. We have to find our own path with God and stay strong in our spiritual beliefs. The pastor just proved my point that he is a man who did what any other man would do. He took a better offer. However, he left his flock knowing he could be bought!!

The Madness Of Mencia!!
I absolutely loved the Carlos Mencia concert at Eagle Mountain casino last Saturday. He had me rolling the whole night. Despite his incredibly dramatic weight loss and three lame comics that came before him, he gave one hell of a show. Carlos is one of those comedians who tells it like it is and tells the truth. Whether talking about Americans being whiny crybabies or Mexicans who love Mexico but would never want to go back there; Carlos opened your eyes and made you say, "Yeah, that is true!" He even insulted Europeans, Asians and Africans. No topic was off limits. He shared his molestation with humor, his father's losing his thumb and his crude sexual appetite with humor and his upbringing in the streets of East L.A. Despite all the laughs, Carlos always let you know that he is a comedian and not to being taken seriously. He is a clown who performed in a tent; the arena being tent shaped. Bottom line, Carlos is a class act, a class clown act!! Great show, Mencia!!

Stop Kris Kardashian Jenner Before She Ruins Hollywood!
Are you like me? Are you forever sick and tired of those media and social pariahs, The Kardasians? It's been 5 years since they entered our lives and I still don't know exactly what they are actually famous for, except maybe Kim's big butt, her laughable wedding, and a sex tape with Ray J. I really don't know what the sisters' claim to fame is and now I hear their brother will be on the upcoming Dancing With The Stars. Still I ponder what the fascination with them is except that the E! network must truly be desperate for a show and Ryan Seacrest, the executive producer, truly needs to be run out of Hollywood or only stick with his American Idol gig. However, I digress on these lost souls and actually vent my frustration at their mother, Kris Jenner. I don't know the woman and have no real beef with her. Except she bothers me deeply. First off, I find her to be nothing more than a media whore cow who is so starved for fame that she's uses her childrens' and late ex-husband's fame to get it. She had recently wanted to continue to use the name Kardashian in regards to the E! show. She is no longer a Kardashian! She is a Jenner. Her children are Kardasians. The fact that her husband, Bruce Jenner, went along with that I will never understand. Plus, she has two children with Jenner. Are they not just as important to her as her other famous children are? She should support her grown Kardashian children in whatever decision they make and focus her attention on her Jenner daughters and shield them away from the glamourous trainwreck her other children can't seem to escape. Now I hear that she may be on the "Talk" on CBS ,which is replacing it's two best players, Holly Robinson Pette and Leah Remini. Is that show really that desperate to bring Kris Jenner? What does she have to contribute? She is the worst example of a parent shielding her children from the spoils of fame. Like them, she joins in. Stay home and be a more protective mom to your Jenner kids while their still minors and there's still time.

"Unsung" Is The Urban E! True Hollywood Story!!
If you have satellite television, you have to check out TV1 sensation television series, "Unsung". It is the most absolute fabulous show there is. You can catch up on your favorite R&B artists of the 70's and 80's and see what they been up to. You get to learn about their ups and down with success and how some survive and some didn't. Artists like the Spinners, Klymaxx, Ohio Players, Debarge, The Spinners, Minnie Riperton, Bootsie Collins and my personal favorite, Alexander O' Neal and Cherelle. Unsung is the E! True Hollywood story for the urban market. Check your local satelite listings and check it out. Unsung is a rare treat!!
Medea's Mediocre Movie Magic
This weekend while channel flicking, I had the dubious pleasure of once again catching a Tyler Perry movie on TBS. TBS seems to thrill in bombarding you with the same movie all weekend long. Plus, Tyler Perry does have a showe on there, "Meet The Browns". To me it seems nothing more than a somewhat bafoonery comedy show. However, getting back to the movie at hand, "Madea Goes To Jail", I had seen a copy at my cousin's house a few years back. It was ok and I didn't really feel the need to watch an entire marathon on cable. However, it got me thinking. As much as we priase Tyler Perry for his brilliant filmmaking in giving Black-Americans a voice, aren't his movie just plain mediocre? Let's be honest. I loved "The Diary Of A Mad Black Woman" and had adapted it as my person journal writings, "The Diary Of A Mad Gay Black Man". However, putting that one aside, there is not one Tyler Perry I can honestly say I believe is a masterpiece. Maybe Precious, which he coproduced. His movies are mediocre, nothing special, over acted and leaves you feeling unsatisfied. Kind of like a low calorie meal. Don't get me wrong. I give Tyler his props in everything he's accopmplished. However, when watching his movies, I know I'm not in for good quality. Just so-so quality.

The World Of Rupaul
I have two major guilty pleasure! It's Rupaul's "Drag Race and Drag U". I am so addicted to both shows on the LOGO network. Never has a television train wreck been so hilarious. Watching the drag queens verbally abuse and sabotage each other one on one show and then turn around and help the common house frau become a drag queen graduating superstar on the other is enough to make anyone's head spin. However, I have to admit, I'm hooked! Rupaul has turned transgendering into an art form and I admire him for that. He is truly the drag mastermind. I also love his philosophy on life. "If you can't love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?" Words to live and love by!

Beware Of Cars!!
As a pediatrician or cyclist, I feel I am always putting my life in danger every time I go for a bike ride or do an errand. I am constantly having to maneuver and dodge cars that don't look both ways or try to dodge out in front of you to avoid. People don't realize that they are driving a machine. Not only that: a killing machine. I truly believe that people have forgotten to obey traffic rules and just want to get to their destinations and damn anybody else. It seems drivers never look both ways anymore. That is one of the very first things you are taught in driving school, for heaven's sake. Sometimes I dread walking out or riding out because it feels like a traffic combat zone out there. Drivers!! Look both ways!! Look out for your fellow pedestrians or bicyclists!! You don't own the road. Share it with all of us!!

The Truth About Assesment Tests !!
What is the deal with assesment tests on online applications? Why do we have to take them? They seem to ask the same questons over and over again but in different forms. What are you like as a person, how you were in school, are you clean, are you tidy, do you get along well with others, are you a team member or do you work best alone? Between 80-180 questions of the same old tired question reworded. It makes one head spin and it's easily frustrating. However, that is what gets you hired. See, the employment agencies or job placement services won't tell you that. I don't know why. Is it some deep dark secret. That test that you hate taking at the end of the application is what the employer is looking at. Not your experience. Not your qualifications and not your references. I overheard a gentleman talking to his friends while they were job hunting online. He was telling them how he hadn't had a job in 2 years. He took the assesment test, passed it and got a phone call from the employer. Overhearing, he said if you're in the 10% percent to pass the test, you are one of the first they will call. So, for those of you who can't find a job and apply online, now you know why. I know it's very unfair. It down right sucks!! However, that is how it is. I myself have wondered how does one pass an assesment test? Is there a way to cheat on one? I'm not trying to encourage my fellow job seeking brethren. I'm simply saying that employers should be more honest on why passing the test matters and future employees should learn how to better master an assesment test better.

Summertime Blues!!
Are you like me? Do you too have a love/hate relationship with summer? Every June, as summer approaches, we all strive and fantasize about what this summer is going to bring. We all want that great summer where we jet set off to exotic lands, or have that fantastic walk along the beach with family or friends or that special someone. Teachers and kids are out of school and wanting to enjoy that summer vacation for as long as they can. We so want to see that latest summer flick playing at the local cineplex or go to our nearest park to have a great family barbeque or that romantic picnic with that close intimate friend. Yes, I too have been guilty of having romantic thoughts of summer. However, let's keep it real! Summer is hot, humid, dry and sweaty! Some of us can't afford to jump on that big jumbo jet and fly away to wonderful cooler destinations. We have to stay home and have our crappy rotating fans to keep us cool only to have it blow hot air back at us. You can't sleep or nap and if you do, you can actually feel the sweat dripping down your forhead. Ugh!! Then, the summer movies suck!! It's either loud, noisy and pointless or cute family sugary dreck. We so want summer to be a big huge party with cute guys, cute chicks, thumping good music and food and drink aplenty. Which in some cases, it can be. However, let's not forget the hot humid muggy feeling we face when out taking a walk, bike ride or running an errand. Look, I'm not knocking summer. I'm just trying to look at summer a little more realistically then television and the movies portray it. I, for one, love the fall. It's cooler, crisper and to me, more calmer. You watch the leaves fall and realize that changes are happening. The end of the year is upon us and time for a new year and new beginnings. That's what I love about fall. Summer to me is a bad hot sweaty fantasy. Fall is a cool calming thought provoking dream. To those of you who love summer, hey more power to you. However, fall is my time to shine!!

Reality Killed The Radio Star!!
Last monday was the 30th Anniversary of MTV. As a kid of the 80's, that cable network was so a part of my youth. You would see all the latest videos from artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince and Bruce Springsteen. The battle cry of that era was, "I Want My MTV!!" and we meant it. It was a channel that related to the youth. It knew what kind of music the we wanted and we watched for hours and hours. For that first 10 years from 1981-1991, MTV stood true to it's promise of music videos 24 hours a days, seven days a week. Then a strange creature crept in and slowly affected our beloved network, reality televesion. It started small in 1992 with, "The Real World". A show about a group of people forced to live together in a big city and coexist. Some seasons were good, some ok, some crap. However, we tolerated it if only to still have our favorite videos on all the time. Then slowly about 2000, when our backs were turned, that strange creature grew bigger and bigger and soon devoured our favorites videos. Soon our beloved MTV was doing shows on teen drama, teen mamas, New Jersey bafoons, and teen wolfs. MTV was still doing their annual video music awards every fall. However, the problem was.....Where were the videos?! You're a channel that originally was put on the air to play videos however you weren't playing videos. Plus, the M in MTV stood for music. Music!! Not reality shows over and over again for 24 hours. My point is this. What happened to MTV?! How did it go from a fun loving new and exciting channel to a empty shell of its self just for the purpose of saving a buck and cowering to the trend of latest reality crap shows? All I have to say is "I WANT MY MTV......BACK!"

15 Minutes Of Shame?
It seems that every time I turn on the television, all I see are reality shows. You can't escape it. It's like the disco era of the 70's. (For those of you old enough to remember). Every channel! Everywhere!! Shows like American Chopper, Pit Boss, Repo Man, and Cake Bosses, just to name a few. Oh, and let's not forget those celebries whose careers have falterd and now have to whore themselves on shows like VH1 Celebrity Rehab, Famous Food and Gene Simmons Family Jewels. Oh and please don't even get me started on that train wreck, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians". Ryan Seacrest should be kidnapped, bound, gagged and forced to listen to every bad audition of American Idol over and over again for the next 15 years for coming up with that rotten concept. That doesn't even scratch of the hundreds and hundreds of reality dredge that is out there. Yes yes yes, we all want our 15 minutes of fame!! I am guilty of it too. However, where did the madness begin. Society wants to blame 2000's premiere of the first season of "Survivor" as starting the perferbial ball rolling. Everyone looking in the camera to give their whining point of view and hoping to backstab and claw thei way into winning the top prize ahead. So, it's naked Richard Hatch's fault are country has gone to hell in a handbasket, not only debt wise but value wise. Look, I'm not dising these people that go on there and try to get recognition and or some sort of desperate fame. All I'm saying is that I've seen some of these shows and trust me : 75% of the people on those reality shows are not camera friendly on the eyes or ears. Just being honest. Also when you watch these programs you have to wonder if it is scripted. Come on, now. Scenes play out to predictably and fights and arguements happen that seem to be what the audience watching the show wants. Reality shows give us that fight we want to see or that arguement we knew was coming. God forbid a shouting match ends quietly or a repo ends without a shoving match between some redneck repossesor and ghetto non-payee. Reality shows seem to be the new dramas that are slowly become dinosaurs on network and calble televion. With budget problems even affecting televion, it's no wonder reality shows are now a dime a dozen. However, can too much "reality" be a bad thing? I like some reality shows. Shows like "Intervention" and "Hoarders" really give us imformative details about the people we want to get to know and the diseases that they are battling and overcoming. Shows that lwet me get to know you without you bashing over the head week and week and week with your moronic stupidity. So, again as I wrap this up, I ask again, can reality be too much of a bad thing?

African American
For the past twenty years, we have become engrained with "political correctness syndrome". You can't just be what you are anymore, which was a typical living breathing red blooded American. No, no, no. Now you have to have a title in front of that to identify you. When did that happen? Why did that happen? So that the powers that be can fill some sort of twisted quota? So that if you are non-white, you must some sort of weird ethninicity mind game? Well, I for one have had enough. Enough with political correctness. Enough with saying the right thing and not offending anyone. Enough!! We should call ourselves what we want to be called and live with it. Let's take certain terms into question. "Asian-Americans": The term is used to describe an American citizen whose origin is of oriental decent; whether, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean or any of the other South Pacific countries. However, what is an Asian? Also, where does India fit into all this? Isn't that also an Asian coutry. It's a part of the Asian continent. Also, what about Russia? What continent does that fit into? Some people say its a part of Europe. Upon looking at a map, it clearly looks like it could be a part of Asia. I really can't see it as part of Europe. Oh, and let's not forget the middle eastern countries. Where do they fit in politically? Then there is the term "Hispanic". This one one boggles my mind due to the fact that is represents a group of people of latin origin. I assume that means Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba and generally all the coutries in central America and South America. I also know for a fact that there is no country called "Hispa". All kidding aside, the terms also refers to those in Spain. Spain?! Isn't Spain a European country? Looking through history, we know that spanish speaking people learned spanish from Spaniards through historical vicious attacks from countries centuries ago. Spanish was forced or learned upon innocent victims or through a family tree bloodline. Moving on, my question is how do we count Spaniards as Hispanic? I remember when political correctness was first coming out, whites were supposed to be called European American. Hmm... I find that funny how that term never seemed to stick. Why is that?! Which brings me to the term that over the years I have learned to battle, hate, tolerate, wince and grimace: African American. This is a term that I have never truly embraced and never will. Let me explain. I am a kid from the late 70's and all the 80's. Growing up, I was made to believe that black was beautiful. I still feel that way and will always feel that way. Black is beautiful and a wonderful state of mind. It's how you carry it which makes you embrace it. Through the centuries, we have endured many titles: Coloreds, Negroes, Black and now, African American. I for one, always stuck with Black. I loved it and still love it. It's what I am. Beautiful, Lovable, Attitude, Clever, and Knowledgeable. By the way, if you patent this, I wrote it first. So, you need my approval. So, ha! Being black was to be proud and honored. James Brown said it best in the 60's. "Say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud." With all the struggles that blacks went through during the civil right movement and brutal struggles to prove that they were just as important to American society, why now do we call ourselves something else? A great civil rights leader also made the great arguement refering to the great Dr. Martin Luther King, "With everything he went through to get us accepted would he really have wanted us to call ourselves something?" Would he have? I am not disrepecting the term African American, I just for one do not like that label to be placed on me. For one, Africa is a continent not a country. Second, I believe it cheats me out of being an American by saying I am half-American. I am not half-American. I am American, period, end of discussion!! Third, the term is used to describe blacks who are American. What about Grammy award winner rocker Dave Matthews? He is South African born and now is American. What is he? South African is an African country. Isn't he a real African American. Let's not forget Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron. Also, South African born. She got her American citizenship in 2008. What is she?! I've given you two Caucasian of African decent and yet the media does nothing to look into the matter or address the matter. Why is that?! As I wrap up this hodge podge of political mumbo jumbo, I simply ask that we ask ourselves what is correct and what is not totally correct. The only term I truly embrace and totally agree with is Native Americans. I have Native American blood in me from my great grandmother who was Cherokee. Bottom line, I feel they, Native Americans, have earned that title. They were here first before anyone came to this great and troubled country of ours. So, there is my rant and rave on political correctness. Why does it exist? Who knows? Who cares? Be who you want to be and let no one stop you.
